Tool Safety

Work slowly, use light pressure and stop when something feels wrong.

General precautions

These are manicure and nail art tools, not medical devices. They are not intended to treat nail disease or skin conditions. Avoid use on irritated, infected, injured or bleeding skin and nails. Seek qualified advice for persistent pain, discoloration or signs of infection.

Files and buffers

Work gently on the intended nail surface. Repeated abrasion can thin or damage a nail. Stop if you feel heat, pain or sensitivity. Do not use a file or buffer to remove skin.

Pointed and metal tools

Keep pointed ends away from eyes and skin. Do not dig beneath a nail or force a cuticle tool into living tissue. A cuticle pusher is not permission to cut, scrape aggressively or remove attached skin. Ask a qualified nail professional if you are unsure.

Colors, solvents and other products

Follow the label and ventilation requirements of any polish, gel, solvent or cleaner used with a tool. Compatibility and curing requirements depend on the actual product. No lamp, liquid or chemical is included unless its listing expressly states otherwise.

Practice and supervision

Practice new designs on an artificial nail or practice surface. Tools and small accessories are not toys; keep them away from children and pets. No age suitability or professional certification is implied.

Hygiene

Inspect and clean tools before and after use according to item instructions. Do not share personal tools casually. Read the Care Guide for storage and cleaning considerations.
